Music Education News!!!
Music Education News!
If you haven’t heard the recent buzz about school districts cutting back, you need to be informed:
According to recent news, school districts have been forced to make painful budget choices as state property values decline and the economy continues to dive. With educators and parents on the brink of chaos, we found out that more than $2.1 billion havealready been cut from state education spending starting since as early as 2008.
If you think that’s crazy, the word is that this year districts are facing an eight percent cut, or $542 per student. “The arts, music, sports are certainly…on the list…” With heavy focus on eliminating art, music, technology and/or reading teachers to save up to $4.1 million, TradeMyAx is raising concern. The removal of these programs in schools means that children will be deprived of the courses they love most. The classes they look forward to everyday, which provide them with lessons in discipline and ambition.
TradeMyAx’s music education program will work to help schools keep the courses that kids really love, available. Without the enrichment of these programs, children will lose interest in their education. Spread the word on our Music Education Program. Every school can benefit from it, at a time like this.

Hailing from Miami and New York is made up of Raffa Jo on vocals along with Rainer Davies on various strings. These two have come together in their live performance to forge a sound not easily categorized, but if you’d like to venture there it would be made up of the storytelling sounds of folk with a dash of indie flavor.
